A fan-shaped sea sponge dominates the foreground, its intricate lattice structure stretching vertically against a rugged coral wall. The organism displays soft gradients of pale orange and dusty pink, illuminated by reflected light filtering through the water column. Beyond the textured reef surface, the deep blue ocean fades into a hazy distance where suspended plankton creates a soft, milky veil. The cool season air is not felt, but the muted light suggests early evening, casting gentle shadows across the undulating coral formations. Fine sediment particles drift lazily in the current, adding a subtle grain to the blue expanse. The water surface ripples above, distorting the light into shimmering patterns that dance across the sponge's delicate arms. One ray of sunlight pierces the haze, highlighting the translucent edge of the fan.
