A dark sea fan coral stands motionless yet suspended in the water, its intricate fan shape cut sharply against the bright, hazy horizon. Low morning sunlight strikes the water surface beyond, creating a glowing band of pale gold that bleeds into the blue depths. The water carries a visible plankton haze, softening the distant coral wall and reducing contrast in the background. Rainy season moisture hangs in the air, diffusing the light into a gentle, even glow that wraps the underwater scene. The coral wall rises vertically behind the subject, its rough texture barely visible through the suspended particles. Fine details of the sea fan's branches fade into the shadow of the silhouette, ending in a jagged edge against the luminous water. The entire frame holds a stillness where the current is felt only by the slight drift of the fan.
