Manta Ray Gliding Past Sea Fan Wall at Sunrise

Pale turquoise light pierces the green surge, illuminating a massive manta ray as it glides horizontally above a towering wall of sea fans. The ray's dark dorsal surface contrasts with the soft pink and orange hues of the branching corals below. Tiny plankton particles float in the water, creating a hazy veil that softens the distant background where the reef drops off into deep indigo shadow. The volcanic rock overhang frames the upper left corner, casting a cool gray shadow against the warm glow of the first sunrise rays. Textures of the rough coral branches and the smooth, rubbery skin of the manta are sharply defined in the foreground before dissolving into the suspended particles of the open water.
