Suspended particles glitter like fine dust in the dusky water column beneath a massive reef ledge. Bioluminescent waves curl and break across the shallow coral flat, leaving trails of electric blue light that pulse against the darkening seabed. The water holds a heavy, weightless quiet as twilight deepens the surrounding ocean into indigo. Tiny specks of plankton catch the faint glow, creating a shimmering haze that drifts slowly over the textured coral formations. The scene remains grounded in the tropical shallows near Zanzibar, where the rainy season brings rich, nutrient-filled water. A sharp edge of glowing foam rests against a shadowed coral head, defining the boundary between light and dark.
