Golden afternoon light falls through clear tropical water, creating a lattice of shifting caustics across a dark volcanic reef overhang near Zanzibar. Nestled within a narrow crevice, a flame scallop extends vibrant red tendrils that flare against the shadowed rock. Fine suspended particles glitter in the water column, catching the sun's rays to form a field of floating dust. The scallop's shell rests partially hidden in the crevice, its soft tissue glowing with intense crimson hues. Blue stillness pervades the space beside the overhang, while the rhythmic movement of water gently shifts the light patterns on the rough stone surface. at the edge is a single ray of light striking the tip of a red tendril, illuminating its translucent edge.
