Sea Anemones in Florida Tide Pools

Tropical bright light penetrates shallow water, illuminating clusters of sea anemones anchored against a dark volcanic drop-off. Their tentacles display bands of orange, red, and translucent white, shifting gently in the suspended water. Fine plankton haze softens the background, blurring the distant rock face into a pale blue gradient. The water surface creates a shimmering ceiling above, fracturing the sunlight into dancing patches on the sandy floor. Small pebbles and scattered shells rest near the anemone bases, at the base of the vibrant marine life in the gritty texture of the reef. A shadow from an overhanging rock falls across the sandy bottom, creating a sharp edge where light meets dark. The stillness of the water preserves every delicate detail of the tentacle tips against the deep blue void.
