Stingray Eyes Peering from Italian Sand

Soft sand grains settle around a stingray body, leaving only its small eyes visible above the surface. Late afternoon light penetrates the clear tropical water, creating a dance of glittering caustic patterns that ripple across the sandy floor. A subtle haze of plankton drifts in the distance, softening the background into a pale turquoise blur. The stingray remains still, its skin texture blending seamlessly with the sediment. Sunlight filters down from above, illuminating individual sand particles and the gentle curves of the creature's head. The scene ends with a sharp focus on the dark, unblinking eye resting against the bright, shifting light of the water column.
