Sunken Pier Barnacles Oysters Miragaia Dawn

Cold silver dawn light falls through the shallow water near Miragaia, illuminating a sunken wooden pier resting above a seagrass meadow. The timber beams are heavily encrusted with clusters of barnacles and oysters, their rough, layered textures contrasting against the smooth, dark wood. A fine haze of plankton softens the background, blurring the distant seagrass blades into a pale, shifting green. The wide panoramic view shows the stillness of the submerged structure, where the calcified shells create a rugged, uneven landscape along the decayed beams. Floating particles drift slowly around the encrusted pilings, catching the faintest highlight of the rising sun. A small cluster of barnacles on the foreground beam reflects the light at the edge of the frame.
