Copper-toned light falls through exceptionally clear water, illuminating a blue shark gliding beside a steep volcanic drop-off in Sardinia. The shark's sleek, slate-blue flank reflects the warm golden hour sun, while a small pilot fish swims in tight formation near its dorsal fin. Layers of depth recede into the distance, where the dark silhouette of the volcanic rock contrasts with the bright, open ocean. Slow-moving surface ripples create a shimmering pattern above, casting gentle shadows across the shark's body. Early autumn clarity reveals every scale and fin detail without distortion. The water remains still, save for the subtle movement of the marine life. A faint shadow of the shark stretches across the sandy bottom below.
