Neon Mantis Shrimp on Zanzibar Reef

A mantis shrimp displays iridescent bands of electric blue and vivid orange against a textured coral wall. Misty diffused dawn light falls through the water, illuminating suspended particles that glitter like scattered diamonds. The blue water beyond fades into a soft haze. Thick, dark smoke behaves as heavy liquid, falling downward in slow, viscous ribbons that coil around the creature's claws and the coral surface. These dense, dark streams contrast sharply with the luminous colors of the shrimp. Tiny bubbles rest on the rough edges of the coral, while the falling smoke creates a surreal, gravity-defying texture that merges with the marine environment.
