Reef Manta Ray Belly Markings Belize Coral Wall

Bright afternoon sunlight penetrates the clear blue water near Belize City, illuminating the pale underbelly of a reef manta ray. The massive creature glides parallel to a textured coral wall, its white skin patterned with dark, irregular spots that fade into the surrounding turquoise. Tiny suspended particles glitter like scattered diamonds in the sunbeams cutting through the water column. The coral surface displays rough, organic ridges in shades of brown and green. From behind, the ray's wide pectoral fins appear to fold slightly as it moves. The water remains still, creating a solid block of deep blue that extends past the coral edge. A cluster of small fish hovers near the rock face, casting faint shadows on the uneven stone.
