Deep indigo water surrounds a massive manta ray captured mid-rotation at a coral cleaning station near Sydney. The creature appears as a dark silhouette against the fading twilight sky, its pectoral fins tracing a wide, circular arc. Sunlight falls through the surface, creating shimmering ribbons of light that dance across the seabed. The water remains exceptionally clear, revealing the rough texture of the cleaning coral below. Gentle ripples on the surface distort the light into elongated streaks. The ray's smooth skin contrasts with the jagged edges of the surrounding reef structures. A small school of fish hovers motionless near the coral, waiting for the cleaning service.
