Hammerhead Sharks at Sunset Near Osaka Volcanic Drop-off

Orange low-angle sunlight penetrates the deep blue water, illuminating a school of hammerhead sharks swimming parallel to a steep volcanic rock wall. The water holds a thick haze of plankton that softens the distant background into a muted gradient. From behind, the distinct T-shaped heads and grey dorsal fins of the sharks cut through the fluid, their skin reflecting the warm, fading light of the winter sunset. The volcanic rock face rises vertically, its rough texture against the smooth movement of the fish. Shadows stretch long across the sandy bottom, while the water's surface above glows with the last intensity of the day. One shark's tail fin flickers near the rock's edge, marking the boundary between the open sea and the submerged cliff.
