Silhouetted Nurse Shark at Stone Town Reef Ledge

Golden sunset light falls through the surface, creating a luminous haze above a dark reef crevice where a nurse shark rests. The shark forms a solid black silhouette against the glowing water, its broad, flat head and pectoral fins clearly defined against the brightness. Fine surface ripples stretch across the top of the frame, distorting the light into shifting patterns that dance down toward the reef floor. The water remains exceptionally clear, revealing the rough texture of the coral ledge and the smooth, sandy bottom beneath the shadow. Small particles float in the current, catching the fading sun as the shark remains motionless in the cool depth of the crevice. A faint orange glow highlights the upper edge of the shark's dorsal fin where it meets the lighter water.
