Sea Lion Pup Chasing Starfish in Sydney Waters

Pale amber sunlight falls through exceptionally clear water, illuminating a sandy seabed where a sea lion pup maneuvers a bright orange starfish. The pup's wet, dark fur glistens against the muted beige sand, its flippers gently pushing the five-armed creature along the bottom. Slow-moving surface ripples create shifting patterns of light that dance across the scene, casting soft, elongated shadows that stretch toward the foreground. The water holds an otherworldly blue stillness, deepening in hue as it extends into the distance. Small grains of sand drift lazily in the current, settling around the pup's paws. A faint reflection of the starfish's texture appears on the wet surface of the sand nearby.
