Flying Fish Leap Sardinia Waves

Sunlight reflects intensely off the churning Mediterranean surface, illuminating a flying fish suspended mid-air above the crests. The silver scales of the fish catch the late morning light, creating a shimmering arc against the deep blue water. Behind the subject, a dark volcanic drop-off rises from the sea, its rough, black rock face softened by a hazy layer of plankton. The water around the fish glows with suspended particulate matter, diffusing the light into a luminous, submerged mystery. Fine ripples surround the creature, while the distant horizon fades into a misty turquoise. The fish's pectoral fins extend fully, locking against the air current. A sharp line of white foam marks the breaking wave just below the fish's tail.
