Blue Shark and Pilot Fish Near Sydney Volcanic Drop

Emerald light falls through the water column, fractured by surface ripples into shifting patterns across a massive blue shark gliding past a steep volcanic drop-off. The shark's smooth, slate-blue skin contrasts with the sandy slope behind it. A small pilot fish swims in tight formation near the shark's dorsal fin, its silver scales catching the dim green illumination. Fine plankton particles float in the foreground, creating a soft haze that blurs the distant rock face. The water clarity fades gradually, leaving only the sharp textures of the shark's gills and the pilot fish's fins in focus. One ray of sunlight pierces the upper water, illuminating a swirl of sediment against the dark basalt wall.
