Silhouetted Manatees Nuzzle in Winter Night
Silvery winter light falls through exceptionally clear water, illuminating a submerged channel where two manatees press their rounded bodies together. Their dark forms stand out against the pale, rippling surface above, creating a stark silhouette against the glow. Below them, a dense meadow of seagrass sways gently in the slow current, its blades catching the faint illumination. The water remains still enough to reveal the texture of their skin and the gentle curve of their heads as they nuzzle. The night sky casts a cool, uniform tone over the entire scene, showing the suspended calm of the dry season. One ripple breaks the surface near the edge of the frame, distorting the light just above the animals. the mix of shadow and pale water defines the depth of the channel.
