The shark's mottled brown and white skin blends with the broken limestone beneath it, while faint ground glow from the reef floor lifts the scene from total darkness. Tiny suspended particles glitter like distant stars in the water column, catching the faint starlight that penetrates the shallows near Zanzibar. The background dissolves into soft blue shadows, leaving the shark and the jagged coral fragments in sharp focus. One ray of light catches the texture of the shark's rough skin, highlighting the contrast between the living creature and the ancient stone.
