Nurse Shark Resting in Reef Ledge Shadow

Cold silver dawn light falls through clear water, illuminating a nurse shark resting in the deep shadow of a reef ledge. The shark's gray skin displays rough, sandpaper-like texture against the smooth, dark rock of the crevice. Fine plankton haze drifts through the water, softening the distant coral formations and reducing visibility. The shark remains motionless, its body curved slightly to fit the space beneath the overhang. Pale light reflects off the water's surface far above, creating a gradient from bright blue to the cool gray of the shadow. Tiny particles float past the shark's stationary eye, while the edge of the reef casts a sharp, dark boundary across the sandy bottom.
