Silhouetted Zebra Shark in Coral Reef

Honeyed evening light falls through turquoise water, casting the spotted form of a zebra shark into a sharp silhouette against the bright surface. The shark rests motionless on a bed of white sand scattered with jagged coral rubble beneath a reef ledge. Suspended particles glitter like diamond dust in the water column, catching the backlight and creating a shimmering haze. Layers of depth recede from the dark foreground into the soft blue distance, where the reef structure fades into the monsoon-tinted shallows. One grain of sand shifts near the shark's tail fin.
