Walrus on Ice Floe in Dappled Light
Sunlight falls through dense green foliage, casting shifting patches of bright yellow and deep shadow across a massive walrus resting on a jagged ice floe. The animal's thick, wrinkled hide displays shades of dusty brown and slate gray, against the brilliant white of the fractured ice beneath its flippers. Below the surface, exceptionally clear water reveals submerged ice chunks in shades of translucent blue, with slow-moving ripples distorting the light. The low angle emphasizes the scale of the walrus against the surrounding forest canopy that frames the upper edge of the view. Fine textures of wet moss rest on the ice edges, while the water's surface reflects the dappled greenery above, creating a mosaic of light and dark patterns that ripple gently around the animal's body.
