Walrus Silhouette on Arctic Ice Floe at Sunset

Golden twilight bleeds across the surface of a frozen sea, illuminating a massive walrus hauled out upon a jagged ice floe. The animal appears as a dark, heavy silhouette against the fading luminance, its long curved tusks catching the last rays of the endless summer sun. Beneath the translucent ice, a submerged rock shelf lies in shadow, while suspended particles glitter like scattered diamonds in the water column below. The ice surface shows rough textures of snow and frost, against the smooth, wet hide of the creature. Light falls through the water, highlighting the depth of the submerged terrain and the stillness of the frozen edge.
