Sperm Whale Tail Diving Through Kelp Forest

Rich amber light from the setting sun falls through the dense, vertical fronds of a kelp forest off the British Columbia coast. A massive sperm whale tail fluke rises above the water surface, its dark, textured skin against the glowing golden haze. Fine plankton particles hang in the air, softening the distant horizon and creating layers of depth that recede into the background. The kelp stalks sway gently, their brown and green hues muted by the late autumn atmosphere. The whale's fluke displays a distinct notch, silhouetted against the bright, hazy sky before the animal descends into the deep, suspended in a moment of calm motion.
