Dusky Dolphin Porpoising Through Green Swells

Sunlight pierces the clear tropical water, fracturing into shifting patterns of gold and white that dance across the ocean floor. A dusky dolphin arches its sleek grey body above the surface, breaking the cold green swells with a spray of droplets catching the noon glare. The water remains translucent, revealing suspended particles that glitter like dust motes in the current. Kelp fronds sway gently along the submerged shelf, their dark green blades against the bright surface foam. Layers of depth recede from the sharp focus of the dolphin into the hazy blue distance, where the horizon line blurs the meeting of sea and sky. The animal's smooth skin reflects the overhead light, creating a continuous highlight that runs from its blowhole to its tail fluke.
