Beluga Whale in Thai Shallow Turquoise Waters

Turquoise water fills the frame, its surface rippling under the flat glare of noon. A beluga whale floats just below the surface, its smooth white skin glowing against the shallow depth. Dappled light from overhead leaves creates shifting patterns of bright highlights and dark shadows across the whale's back. Tiny plankton particles drift in the water, softening the view into the distance and giving the shallows a hazy, suspended quality. The water remains clear enough to see the sandy bottom beneath the animal. Sunlight fractures on the surface, casting moving specks of gold that dance across the creature's pale form. The edge of a leaf hangs low, its green tip touching the water line.
