Horn Shark on Autumn Kelp Forest Floor

Cold silver dawn light falls through exceptionally clear water, illuminating a horn shark resting on the kelp forest floor beside a tide-cut rock ledge near Fukuoka. The shark's textured skin displays a pattern of small white spots against a brownish-grey base, blending with the sandy bottom scattered with decaying autumn kelp fronds. Slow-moving surface ripples distort the light into shifting patterns across the scene. The rock ledge rises vertically on the left, its surface slick with marine growth. One strand of golden-brown kelp drifts horizontally in the foreground, its edges sharp against the soft focus of the deeper forest. The water clarity reveals fine sediment particles suspended in the current.
