Lionfish Fins Spread Under Reef Overhang

Cold silver dawn light falls through exceptionally clear water, illuminating a lionfish positioned beneath a dark reef overhang. The fish holds its venomous spines and striped fins fully extended in a rigid display against the shadowed rock face. Pale orange bands contrast sharply with the cool blue-grey tones of the surrounding water. Slow-moving surface ripples create a faint, shimmering distortion on the water's surface above. The creature hovers in suspended stillness near the crevice, its translucent pectoral fins catching the dim light. Fine grains of sand settle on the sandy bottom below, while the rock texture appears rough and pitted in the low light.
