The light is flat and diffuse, filtering through the surface after recent rain, leaving the scene in soft shadow without harsh highlights. Tiny suspended particles glitter throughout the water column, catching the dim light like scattered dust. The shark's smooth skin reflects a muted sheen as it passes the textured coral structures. Behind the wall, the water deepens into a darker blue, indicating the drop-off of the reef slope. The sea fans sway slightly, their intricate branches creating a complex silhouette against the open water. A shadow from the shark falls softly onto the coral below, anchoring the creature to the reef structure.
