Sailfish Dorsal Fin Rising in Misty Dawn Light

Pale morning light falls through the surface, illuminating a sailfish as its tall dorsal fin rises vertically against the cool blue water. The fish glides just below a kelp-fringed shelf, its sleek silver body reflecting the diffused dawn glow. Mist softens the horizon where the water meets the sky near Habana Vieja, Havana. Tiny ripples disturb the surface in slow, rhythmic waves, while the underwater visibility remains exceptionally clear. The kelp sways gently in the current, framing the predator in a stillness that feels suspended in time. Dark shadows fall across the fish's flank, showing the texture of its scales against the luminous water. One ray of light catches the edge of the fin, creating a sharp, glowing outline.
