Clownfish Defending Anemone Under Reef Ledge

Bright orange scales flash against the translucent, swaying tentacles of a sea anemone anchored beneath a jagged limestone ledge. The clownfish hovers just inches from the soft, pulsing fringe, its fins spread wide in a defensive posture. Sunlight penetrates the crystal-clear turquoise water, fracturing into shimmering, dancing caustic patterns that ripple across the fish's body and the sandy seabed below. Fine sediment drifts lazily in the slow current, while the anemone's delicate tentacles sway in rhythm with the surface ripples visible through the water column. The scene is dominated by the contrast between the vibrant marine life and the cool, shadowed grey of the overhanging rock. One tentacle tip touches the sandy floor, marking the boundary of the territory.
