Blue Whale Surfacing Near Volcanic Drop Off

Soft overcast light washes the open ocean surface where a massive blue whale breaks through the water. A tall, white spout of mist rises from the blowhole, catching the pale morning glow. The water is exceptionally clear, revealing the whale's dark blue skin fading into the deep teal depths below. Gentle, slow-moving ripples distort the reflection of the sky on the water's surface. In the background, a steep, dark volcanic drop-off rises sharply from the sea, its rough texture against the smooth fluidity of the water. The cool season air sits heavy over the scene, keeping the colors muted and the light diffuse. A small patch of white foam rests on the whale's flank where it emerges. The edge of the volcanic rock cuts a sharp line against the horizon.
