Blue Whale Surfacing Near Zanzibar in Late Afternoon

Sunlight pierces the turquoise surface, illuminating a massive blue whale as it breaks the water to breathe. The wet skin glistens with dark slate and pale blue hues, contrasting against the frothy white spray erupting from its blowhole. Fine suspended particles glitter in the water column, catching the clear late-afternoon light like scattered diamonds. The ocean stretches into a wide panoramic horizon, calm and deep, with the distant Zanzibar coastline visible as a faint, hazy line of green and brown. Water droplets hang momentarily in the air before falling back, creating a textured curtain around the creature's head. The surface ripples gently outward, distorting the reflection of the sky above.
