Blue Whale Shadow Over Sicilian Basalt Coast

Layers of green foothills stretch beneath a ridge of dark basalt columns battered by ocean waves. A massive blue whale floats suspended in the bright late afternoon sky, its smooth grey-blue skin glistening under the early spring drizzle. The creature casts a distinct, dark shadow across the wet rock face and churning water below, matching its aerial position perfectly. Raindrops create small ripples on the stone surface and the ocean foam. The scale of the whale dwarfs the jagged columns, showing the geologic grandeur of the Sicilian landscape. A sharp shadow edge falls across the white sea spray at the water's base.
