Turquoise water glitters with sharp caustic patterns across the pale, smooth skin of a beluga whale suspended in shallow depths. The massive white body floats near a dark, volcanic rock drop-off that rises from the seabed, creating a stark contrast against the bright marine life. Soft plankton haze blurs the background, muting the distant horizon into a pale wash of color. Late afternoon light filters down through the clear tropical surface, illuminating the whale's rounded head and small dorsal ridge. Tiny bubbles rest on the creature's skin near the waterline. The volcanic stone edge remains dark and textured against the luminous blue-green shallows.
