Whale Shark in Blue Hole at Sapporo Ice Scoured Channel

Cobalt light floods an underwater channel where a massive whale shark glides through a vertical blue hole. First rays of sunrise penetrate the surface, illuminating suspended particles that glitter like dust in the water column. The shark's spotted skin reflects the cold, deep blue hues of the polar night. Ice-scoured rock walls line the channel, their rough textures visible against the smooth flow of the water. Shot from a low angle, the creature dominates the frame, its fins cutting through the stillness. A faint shadow of the shark falls across the icy floor below. The water remains clear and motionless, preserving every detail of the marine giant's passage.
