Barracuda Vortex Over Seagrass Near Haifa
Silver bodies twist in a tight, rotating column above a carpet of swaying green seagrass. The water holds an exceptional clarity, revealing individual scales that catch the soft, diffused light filtering through the surface. Late autumn shadows stretch gently across the sandy bottom where the vortex forms. Small ripples distort the sunlight into shifting patterns on the fish and the meadow below. The fish move with deliberate slowness, their streamlined shapes blurring slightly at the edges of the frame. Behind the main group, faint outlines of other fish drift in the distance, while the foreground remains sharply defined against the softer background. One scale reflects a pale blue highlight against the darker sand.
