Silhouetted Barracuda School Twilight Sicily

Indigo twilight washes over the Mediterranean surface where broken ripples fracture the fading sky. Beneath the water, a dense school of barracuda forms a dark, streamlined mass against the luminous glow filtering from above. Their silhouettes remain sharp and distinct, hovering over a seagrass meadow that stretches into the soft haze of plankton. The water holds a deep, cool transparency, allowing light to penetrate the depths while the foreground remains in shadow. Individual fish align in perfect formation, their silver scales catching no direct light but reflecting the ambient glow. The distance fades into a soft blue fog, obscuring the seafloor and showing the depth of the submerged world. One ray of sunlight pierces the surface ripples, illuminating the edge of the nearest fish.
