Copper-toned light washes the swollen river surface, turning the churning water a deep, opaque brown. A massive concrete storm drain outfall sits centered beneath the steel cables of a cable-stayed bridge, its mouth forcing a violent column of water into the main current. The concrete surface shows weathered gray textures and water stains running down its vertical face. Above, the bridge's structural cables form a symmetrical geometric pattern against the clear sky.
