Rust-colored water churns violently around the massive concrete base of a bridge pier. The structure stands as a dark, sharp silhouette against the bright, low sun of a midsummer evening. A perfectly clear sky glows with fading orange light behind the pillar. Mud swirls in tight eddies at the water's surface, creating a frothy texture that contrasts with the smooth, engineered vertical lines of the concrete. The scene sits along a maintenance walkway near Comodoro Rivadavia. Shadows stretch long across the wet ground, and at the edge is a single bubble bursting on the turbulent surface of the brown current.
