Kaohsiung Evening Bridge Pier Cutwater Splitting Brown River Current Under Blue Twilight

A concrete bridge pier cutwater stands firmly in the dark, turbulent waters of the Love River as the last blue light of evening settles over Kaohsiung. The flood-brown current swirls violently around the angled structure, creating white foam that contrasts with the deepening shadows. Above, the steel truss of the bridge spans the frame, reflecting the fading sky. In the distance, the silhouette of the Formosa Boulevard station dome is barely visible against the twilight. A few streetlights flicker on along the riverside promenade, casting long reflections on the churning water. The raw power of the river meeting urban infrastructure during the brief transition from day to night.
