Storm Drain Outfall Under Bridge at Twilight

Cooling twilight light softens the wet concrete of the storm drain outfall as murky water pours into the swollen river below. The massive cable-stayed bridge spans overhead, its steel cables disappearing into the dimming sky. Signal lamps along the bridge deck begin to glow with amber and red points of light, cutting through the gray drizzle. Rain slicks the rough stone embankment, turning the river surface into a dark, churning sheet that reflects the fading sky. A low angle view emphasizes the sheer scale of the infrastructure against the churning water. at the edge is a streak of rainwater sliding down the vertical concrete face of the drain.
