Storm Drain Outfall Erupting Into Brown River

Hard afternoon sunlight strikes the rough concrete surface of a massive storm drain outfall where turbulent brown water bursts forth into a swollen river. The water churns with white foam, creating a chaotic interface against the stiller, sediment-heavy current. To the left, a vertical steel ladder climbs the side of a water tower, its rungs casting sharp, linear shadows across the gray masonry. Thick cables hang loosely from the structure, their dark forms against the bright sky. The low angle emphasizes the height of the outfall and the sheer volume of the rushing flow. The water's surface ripples violently, reflecting the harsh light in fractured shards of silver and gold.
