Sperm Whale Diving in Amber Mediterranean Light

Rich amber sunlight penetrates the surface, illuminating a massive sperm whale descending into the deep blue Mediterranean near Catalonia. The animal's dark, textured skin contrasts with suspended particles glittering in the water column, catching the fading spring light. Its massive tail flukes angle downward, propelling it past schools of smaller fish. The whale's head tilts slightly, revealing the square shape of its melon against the soft gradient of the water. Light rays stretch vertically through the clarity, highlighting fine dust motes swirling around the creature. The ocean floor remains hidden in shadow below, while the surface glows with warm hues of the setting sun. One shadow falls across the whale's back as it moves deeper.
