Honeyed orange light falls through autumn water, illuminating a sea slug perched near a dark volcanic drop-off. The creature's neon cerata glow like tiny flares against the dimming depth, their translucent tips catching the low-angle rays. Fine plankton haze softens the background, creating a suspended curtain of dust-like particles that blur the distant reef. The slug's body rests on a rough, shadowed rock surface, its silhouette defined by the backlighting that makes the cerata appear to float. Dark volcanic stone anchors the foreground while the water above holds a warm, amber gradient. One cerata tip reflects a sharp point of light against the surrounding gloom.
