Silhouetted Cuttlefish Over Coral Reef Twilight

Dark water fills the frame, illuminated by a fading glow filtering down from the surface. A broadclub cuttlefish hovers in mid-water, its entire form rendered as a sharp black silhouette against the dimming light. The creature rests just above a rugged volcanic reef overhang, where rough textures of the stone contrast with the smooth, flowing outline of the animal. Fine, slow-moving ripples on the water surface above create a shimmering, distorted ceiling of light. The clarity of the water reveals the sharp edges of the coral garden below without haze. A faint, golden line traces the upper edge of the cuttlefish's mantle where the ambient light grazes the water's density.
