Neon Cerata Sea Slug Over New Zealand Seagrass

Bright late-afternoon sunlight penetrates exceptionally clear water to illuminate a vibrant sea slug resting on a dense bed of New Zealand seagrass. The creature displays rows of neon cerata that glow against the deep blue-green blades. Gentle surface ripples distort the light, creating shifting patterns of brightness across the sandy bottom and the swaying vegetation. The wide panoramic view shows the slow movement of the water and the delicate texture of the seagrass leaves. Shadows stretch softly beneath the slug, anchoring it to the underwater landscape. One cerata tip reflects a sharp point of sunlight against the matte green of the grass.
