Silver flashes of a barracuda school glide through a dark volcanic arch, their bodies catching shafts of noon light that pierce the rippled surface. Late spring clarity holds suspended particles glittering like dust motes in the water column. Soft light after rain softens the edges of the rough stone arch, against the sleek, metallic scales of the fish. The tight close-up framing isolates the movement against the deep blue background, where broken surface ripples distort the light into shifting patterns. Each fish aligns its silver flank to reflect the sun, creating a shimmering path through the submerged mystery.
