Suspended particles glitter throughout the water column, creating a field of scattered points of light that enhances the sense of depth. The arch frames the school from behind, revealing the rocky seabed below and the open water beyond. The water remains still, holding the fish in a suspended formation against the cool, gray tones of the winter morning. Fine details of the volcanic texture contrast with the smooth, streamlined shapes of the fish as they navigate the narrow passage.
