Amber firelight penetrates the exceptionally clear tropical shallows near Stone Town, slicing through the water in thick, visible beams. Behind a massive, impossible coral formation that towers like a cathedral arch, small fish dart through the suspended dust. The water surface above ripples slowly, distorting the golden glow into shifting patterns on the sandy floor. The giant structure displays rough, porous textures in shades of rust and deep violet, casting long, sharp shadows against the surrounding reef. An ordinary seashell, scaled to the size of a house, rests at the base of the arch, its spiral pattern detailed and weathered. The water holds an otherworldly blue stillness that contrasts with the warm light, creating a surreal spatial depth where the massive shell appears to anchor the floating light columns.
